# FieldCamp Developer Resources

Everything needed to integrate with FieldCamp programmatically — or to let an AI assistant act on a FieldCamp workspace directly. Every resource below lives at a stable, predictable URL.

## FieldCamp MCP Server

A hosted [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io/) server using Streamable HTTP transport. It connects Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP-compatible assistant to a FieldCamp workspace, so the assistant can read and act on jobs, clients, estimates, invoices, calendars and custom objects.

Authentication is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (S256). The authorization server supports [RFC 7591](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc7591) dynamic client registration at https://mcp.fieldcamp.ai/oauth/register, so an agent can obtain credentials without a human filling in a form.

## FieldCamp OpenAPI Spec

An OpenAPI 3.1 description of the public FieldCamp surface, including the OAuth security schemes and every named scope. Each operation has a unique `operationId`, a description and typed schemas, so it converts directly into LLM function-calling definitions.

## API Scopes

FieldCamp uses least-privilege scopes: an integration requests only what it needs. The machine-readable declaration follows [RFC 9728](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc9728) and is published at [/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource](https://fieldcamp.ai/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource).

* `clients:read` — Read customer records and contact details.
* `clients:write` — Create and update customer records.
* `jobs:read` — Read jobs, visits, and their schedule.
* `jobs:write` — Create, update, assign, and schedule jobs and visits.
* `requests:read` — Read inbound service requests and pipeline stage.
* `requests:write` — Create and update service requests, and move them through the pipeline.
* `estimates:read` — Read estimates and quoted line items.
* `estimates:write` — Create, update, and send estimates.
* `invoices:read` — Read invoices, balances, and payment status.
* `invoices:write` — Create and update invoices and record payments.
* `products:read` — Read the product and service catalogue, including pricing.
* `products:write` — Create and update products, services, and price book entries.
* `calendar:read` — Read team calendars, availability, and scheduled events.
* `calendar:write` — Create and update calendar events and availability.
* `team:read` — Read team members, roles, and assignment eligibility.
* `analytics:read` — Read reporting and analytics aggregates.
