02 Conversational analytics
Don’t build a report. Ask a question.
Type “how did April go?” or “which techs are over capacity?” into the Command Center. You get a written answer, the KPI cards, and a smart data table — not an empty report builder. It runs on your live data, so the numbers are today’s. Export the table to CSV, or pin the answer to a board.
April brought in $182.4K across 247 jobs — up 12% on March. Maintenance was the biggest driver.

05 Why field service analytics
Field service reporting that answers, not just displays.
01
The answer beats the report.
Most owners don't want a dashboard — they want to know if last month was good. Ask the Command Center and get the number in a sentence, with the table to back it up. No filters to configure.
02
One source of truth, not a spreadsheet export.
Every number comes from the same jobs, invoices, and timesheets that run your business. Revenue, conversion, and wrench time always agree, because they're the same data — not a copy someone pasted last week.
03
Drill down until it's a name.
Revenue is down — but which tech, which client, which week? Click the metric, break it down, expand the row. Every number leads back to the jobs behind it, so you can actually do something about it.
06 The rest of the platform
Reporting is one piece. The rest fits the same way.
Every feature is configured around your business — and connected to the same data your reports run on. Take the whole platform, or just the part you need.
07 Field service reporting FAQ
Field service reporting software — questions, answered.
What is field service reporting software?
Field service reporting software turns the work your team does — jobs, visits, invoices, estimates, and timesheets — into KPI dashboards and reports you can act on. It tracks metrics like revenue, jobs completed, revenue per technician, and lead conversion, broken down by day, week, month, or quarter. FieldCamp adds conversational reporting: instead of building a report, you ask the Command Center a plain-English question and get a live answer with a smart data table.
What KPIs and metrics can I track?
FieldCamp tracks around 80 metrics across financial (collected revenue, outstanding revenue, average invoice value, collection rate, revenue by payment status), jobs (total jobs, job completion rate, average job value), workforce (revenue per technician, jobs per technician, scheduled vs actual hours, utilization rate, travel time, mileage, labor cost, overtime), CRM and pipeline (new clients, lead conversion rate, clients by lead source for marketing ROI, requests by stage), estimates (approval rate, estimate-to-job rate, average days to approval), and inventory (stock value, top-selling items). You can break any metric down by technician, client, job type, city, or state.
How is 'asking the Command Center' different from a dashboard?
A dashboard shows you charts you set up in advance. The Command Center answers questions you ask in the moment. Type something like "how did April go?" or "which techs are over capacity?" and you get a written answer plus the KPI cards and a smart data table — running on your live data. There's no report builder to configure, and you can ask follow-up questions that keep the context.
Can I build my own reports and dashboards?
Yes. The Playground is the self-serve builder: pick a metric, choose a chart type (line, bar, stacked bar, pie, area, or table), group it by day, week, month, or quarter, and break it down by team, client, status, type, or location. Save it as a chart and pin it to a board. Reports and dashboards are gated by role, so technicians can be limited to their own numbers while owners and managers see everything.
Can I schedule reports to send automatically?
Yes. You can set a board to send on a schedule — weekly, monthly, or at the end of a quarter — to the right people by email, as a PDF or CSV. The numbers arrive on time without anyone running them, so owners and managers get the Monday report before they open the laptop.
Can I drill down into the numbers behind a metric?
Yes. Click any metric to see the jobs, invoices, or technicians behind it. Break it down by technician, client, job type, or city, and expand sub-rows inside any table. Every table has a Totals row and can be exported to CSV.
Can I see conversion funnels?
Yes. FieldCamp has built-in funnels that show where work converts or stalls: the Sales Pipeline funnel (request to estimate sent, approved, job created, completed, and invoice paid), Estimate Conversion, Job Execution, Visit Execution, and Client Lifecycle (lead to engaged, first job, repeat, and high-value). Each funnel uses a conversion window you choose and can be broken down by team, client, or city — so you can see exactly which step is leaking and for whom.
Which trades use FieldCamp reporting?
HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, pest control, electrical, landscaping, solar installation, property management, and more. Any field service business that needs to know revenue, technician performance, and conversion benefits from dashboards plus ask-anything reporting — configured around the way your business works.
