Where frustration met innovation.

Born from the struggle of field service professionals battling complex software, FieldCamp’s story is likely your story too—a quest for simplicity in a world of technological overwhelm.

Hey there!

I’m Jeel Patel, the founder of FieldCamp. I’ve been in the software product space since my undergrad, and I’ve seen firsthand the struggles of field service professionals.

People often ask me why we built FieldCamp. It’s unlike any other traditional field service software, and only a few get it at first. It challenges all conventional software rules. But why?

I wish I could say it was some stroke of genius or a eureka moment. But the truth is, FieldCamp was born out of sheer frustration with the status quo.

Throughout the multiple products we’ve built for field service people and small businesses, we realized something critical: all the products in the industry are designed for tech-savvy users, with terrible onboarding experiences. Sound familiar?

We kept seeing hardworking professionals struggle with complex interfaces and steep learning curves. It wasn’t that they couldn’t do their jobs—they just didn’t have the right tools. And that was the painful part.

We asked ourselves: What if there was a software with no learning curve? What if you could operate it as easily as you talk? Our Story Everyone’s building AI products, but they all assume you know how to use traditional software well. Here’s the kicker though—AI is needed most by the people who are not tech-savvy.

That’s where the idea of a conversational-based software came in. But we also know that many don’t fully trust AI to do all their work. So we made it easy to have traditional views and customizability side by side.

We wanted something zen, something beautiful. So it all started with a design that was inspiring. On top of that, we started building AI agents that can do the repetitive, tech-savvy work for you.

One thing we knew from our experience was that many people in this space are multilingual—a feature, not a bug. So the key thinking was: let’s build something without a learning curve and multilingual, so it adapts to what you want to get done, works on human intent.

We accept that the AI wave is just getting started and it’s not perfect. We continue to test our hypothesis of software without a learning curve, and that’s where we need your help.

FieldCamp isn’t just another product—it’s a movement towards more intuitive, accessible technology in the field service industry. We’re challenging traditional software rules because we believe there’s a better way.

It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we have so many people to thank. But most of all, we feel a deep sense of responsibility to continue making the best product we can for field service professionals who desperately seek a better way to work.
